Councils can be short sighted, thinking about the immediate concern rather than the results 10 and 20 years into the future. What’s at risk? The environment has been put at risk, because of lack of meaningful process and consultation. Young families and their children will likely find it difficult to find jobs, housing, and school space, with many major developments on the horizon.
