• Preside over all meetings of the Executive Committee (and, as needed, the Board)

I directed and implemented the strategic goals of the Capilano Students’ Union regarding its relations with the university and other stakeholders. I also lead the development and expansion of student services and programs for the 7,000+ members of the Capilano Students’ Union.

• Participate in U-Pass BC discussions with 10 post-secondary institutions and student societies
• Lead the negotiation of multi-year U-Pass BC agreements with TransLink and the province
• In 2016, elected by Metro Vancouver’s student associations as student co-chair
• Coordinate the U-Pass BC lobbying work of 10 student associations

• Represent the Alliance to external organizations, and as spokesperson
• Coordinate, with the Director of Campaigns, the Alliance’s advocacy work and campaigns

Acted as a delegate for the Students’ Union during the Physical environment committees of Capilano University and oversaw the development of the Students’ Union’s own renovations, totaling $250,000.00+
Managed relations between key stakeholders, both internal and external to the University, so as to effectively advocated for Transportation accessibility at Capilano and in the lower mainland.
Community Foundations bring together people who care about their communities. They facilitate philanthropy by partnering with donors to build permanent endowments and other funds from which they support community projects. Because community foundations focus on building permanent endowments, they are able to address long-term community challenges as well as immediate needs.
